Know that there is no life without its glory, but lots of people have failed totally in taking a step to bring forth the glory. They have failed to discover their purpose in life. They live like slaves when in actual fact they are kings. Love yourself!

Leadership Qualities & Attributes of Great Leaders:

Vision:

Great leaders have vision. They can see into the future. They have a clear, exciting idea of where they are going and what they are trying to accomplish and are excellent at strategic planning. This quality separates them from managers. Having a clear vision turns the individual into a special type of person. This quality of vision changes a “transnational manager” into a “transnational leader.” While a manager gets the job done, great leaders tap into the emotions of their employees.

Courage:

The quality of courage means that you are willing to take risks in the achievement of your goals with no assurance of success.The quality of courage means that you are willing to take risks in the achievement of your goals with no assurance of success.

Integrity:

In every strategic planning session that I have conducted for large and small corporations, the first value that all the gathered executives agree upon for their company is integrity.
They all agree on the importance of complete honesty in everything they do, both internally and externally.

Humility:

Great Leaders are those who are strong and decisive but also humble. Humility doesn’t mean that you’re weak or unsure of yourself. It means that you have the self-confidence and self-awareness to recognize the value of others without feeling threatened.Humility gets results.’Larry Bossidy’ the former CEO of Honeywell and author of the book Execution, explained why humility makes you a more effective leader: “The more you can contain your ego, the more realistic you are about your problems”.

Leaders have the ability to anticipate trends, well in advance of their competitors. They continually ask, “Based on what is happening today, where is the market going? Where is it likely to be in three months, six months, one year, and two years?” through thoughtful strategic planning. The effectiveness of your organization is directly dependent on the effectiveness of your leaders. Strategic planning is vital in clarifying where your organization is going and how you are going to get there. More often than not, leaders are the ones who make strategic plans for the future. Therefore, these two topics and the relationship they share are of vital importance to the success of your company.

Focus:

A primary task of leadership is to direct attention. To do so, leaders must learn to focus their own attention. When we speak about being focused, we commonly mean thinking about one thing while filtering out distractions. But a wealth of recent research in neuroscience shows that we focus in many ways, for different purposes, drawing on different neural pathways—some of which work in concert, while others tend to stand in opposition.Leaders always focus on the needs of the company and the situation. Leaders who seek the input of their followers and attempt to value each person as an individual can create a very different type of organization than authoritarian leaders. A cooperative leader sees himself as a facilitator of a common goal and seeks to share both the responsibilities and the rewards. Effective delegation of tasks and vision can spread the workload effectively and lead to the efficient accomplishment of goals. Employees who want a say in how their company is run will respond better to a cooperative leadership style than to an authoritarian one.

Commitment:

If you expect your team to work hard and produce quality content, you’re going to need to lead by example. There is no greater motivation than seeing the boss down in the trenches working alongside everyone else, showing that hard work is being done on every level. By proving your commitment to the brand and your role, you will not only earn the respect of your team but will also instill that same hardworking energy among your staff.

It’s important to show your commitment not only to the work at hand but also to your promises. If you pledged to host a holiday party, or uphold summer Fridays, keep your word. You want to create a reputation for not just working hard, but also be known as a fair leader. Once you have gained the respect of your team, they are more likely to deliver the peak amount of quality work possible.

Positive Attitude:

Top people maintain a positive attitude and are long-term thinkers. Average thinkers think only about the present, and about immediate gratification. Great leaders think about where they want to be in five and ten years, and what they have to do each hour of each day to make their desired futures a reality. Great leaders get up every morning and they see every effort they make as part of a great plan to accomplish something wonderful with their lives and push forward with a positive attitude.

Ability to Inspire:

All effective leaders have their own unique vision of what they want to accomplish. That vision becomes the energy behind every effort and the force that pushes through all the problems on the way. With vision, the leader is on a mission and a contagious spirit is felt among the crowd until others begin to rise alongside the leader.

Unity is essential for the dream to be realized. Long hours of labor are given gladly to accomplish the goal. Individual rights are set aside because the whole is much more important than the part. Time flies, morale soars upward, heroic stories are told, and the commitment is the watchword. Why? Because the leader has a vision and Leadership Qualities!

Vision is everywhere for a leader. It sparks and fuels the fire within, and draws you forward. It is also the fire lighter for others who follow that leader.
